'Cause you're worth it

My uncle Jeff never wanted for anything.
He didn't need money.
He didn't need a career.
He didn't need materialism.
He has a motorcycle.
He has a small house close to the beach.
He has a little dog named Keno.
He has freedom.
Freedom most of us don't even know exists.
We live in a world of jobs, careers, corporate ladders, bills, loans, mortgages, new cars, and big screen TV's.
We live in condos and developments.
We buy whatever the marketing people want us to.
We say yes sir, yes maam. Right away ASAP.
We get up early to commute to jobs we hate. We have kids we never see. We live by our egos, and die by them as  well. We think love is something we did as children and that marriage is a contract.
An agreement.
An arrangement.
A deal.
We're the whores of a modern age.
We worship money and power and most of us wake up too late.
Too old.
And too fucking tired to change.
